Wellness Programs: Our pets age so much faster than we do, that's why it is very important for them to have a thorough annual physical. As our pets reach their geriatric years a wellness check is advised every 6 months. A physical can be an early detection of disease, just as it is for us. It is very important for your pet to have an annual exam, immunizations, fecal exam, heartworm testing, feline leukemia and aids testing, external parasite exam and neutering or spaying your animals.

Internal Medicine: This encompasses several branches of medicine such as: Dermatology, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Neurology, and many more. We are a full service hospital that does offer many diagnostics such as EKG, Tonometry (a specialized instrument that measures eye pressures for such diseases as glaucoma, and other intraocular conditions).

In-House Blood Chemistry Machines: These machines offer us a much quicker diagnosis, getting results within 20 minutes.

Pharmacy: We have a fully stocked pharmacy. We sell flea products, heartworm medications, shampoos, supplements, medication, and prescription diets. We also work with compounding pharmacies that can flavor your pets medication.

Surgery: We offer many surgical procedures and elective surgeries. Your pet is monitored with an EKG, pulse ox and blood pressure monitor throughout surgery. They are monitored and placed on a padded and heated surgical table, then recovered with heated blankets in a recovery area.

Laser Surgery: A CO2 Laser is used for the majority of our surgery. Laser surgery reduces swelling, decreases bleeding, and decreases the chance of infection. Because of this your pet will have less pain and a quicker recovery time.

Laser Therapy (Now Available): Laser Therapy this is a Class IV Deep Tissue Laser, that uses a beam of light to penetrate deeply into tissues without damaging them. The result of this is reduced pain, reduced inflammation and increases healing time. This is a noninvasive and nonpainful therapy for your pet to reduce pain. The uses for this therapy are endless. Laser therapy benefits arthritis, sprains, strains, acral licks (sores on the legs from licking), severe ear infections, hot spots and many more conditions. Please contact us for more information

Digital Radiography: With digital radiography the image quality is superb, and the time to take an x-ray is so much quicker. These images can be sent via internet to a boarded radiologist for interpretation with results in 24 hours or less.

Microchipping: This gives owners peace of mind if their pet were to ever stray. Microchipping has saved many lost pets and reunited them back to their families.

Dentistry: Dental disease is a very serious problem. It can affect the kidneys, liver and heart if not treated. We recommend regular professional cleanings. Using a Dentalaire unit we will ultrasonically clean and polish your pet's teeth with a fluoride treatment.

Pain Management: This is a very important aspect of veterinary medicine. With all the advances we have with pet health, our pets are living longer. As longevity increases so does arthritis. Maintaining your animals comfort and quality of life as they age is very important. We are more cognisant today in recognizing that animals do feel pain just as we do from such things as injuries or surgery. There are many medications, diets and supplements available to help them please contact us.
